At Home Experiment
This experiment came from our then 9 year old questioning hand washing, the use of hand sanitizers and the spreading of germs. During the beginning of the Corona Virus shut down of 2020 parents learned how to become more creative than usual when it came to our children's education and entertainment. Me being the mom that always has Agar plates in the refrigerator decided that I needed to visually prove to him the proper hand cleaning. As a family we were already using EcoAir Clean and Green not only to sanitize our home, but fruits and vegetables purchased at the store, our hands, and various other items purchased from stores.
For the experiment he placed a finger on each side of the agar plates, one side containing malt and the other blood. We repeated tis 3 times
SAMPLE A: Dirty finger from a playground with no washing or wiping.
SAMPLE B: Hands washed wth antibacterial soap and water.
SAMPLE C: Playtime resumed, and he got all mucky once again. I sprayed his hands with EcoAir Clean & Green and let them dry.
OUR FINDINGS:
SAMPLE A Contained Group D Enterococci, Bacillus, Pseudomonas sp. (Gram negative Bacteria), Trichoderma Fungi, Aspergillus Fungi, and Clostridium Difficile.
SAMPLE B Contained Bacillus Bacteria, Aspergillus Fungi, and Cladosporium Fungi.
SAMPLE C Had no Fungi or Bacteria Detected.
